Thanks to Alan for seeing this thing through and trusting me to do the designs and a huge thank you and tons of props to Jared for always letting me run with it and then being as insanely talented as he is trusting and being able to make anything I draw. Jared is one of my best friends and then he also happens to be one of the most talented people I know so helping him with this car has been a total pleasure and privilege.

What about the underside of that hood? Is that amazing or what? "oh, I'll just build a new under-structure to clear and accommodate the vents" What? How? Go to his website and see how he did it on the 69 Camaro we did together 7 years ago!

Jason,

All I can say is wow, tremendous fab work and design. I should have had these guys do my 66 nova!!

We always try to simplify an engine without covering anything up... I like to mount the LS coils down at the oil pan, this allows the plug wires to stay concealed between the headers and the block.

Looking really nice. I like the coil relocation idea, cleans up the engine bay a lot. How are you going run the coil harnesses? Underneath the headers to the block or down by the oil pan?

Al Moreno 10-15-2014 04:37 PM

Hey Jared coil bracket looks great! Is it a tight to get the harness onto the coils? It looks like a tight squeeze.

snappytravis 10-15-2014 05:51 PM

Can't wait to go check this baby out!! If I was to do a nova it would have to be 66 or 67 for sure. Good job guys.

Sinco 10-15-2014 06:06 PM

What car is that sitting behind the first picture of the engine? Looks like a nova with a turbo maybe...

Hotrod1 10-15-2014 06:12 PM

Yeah, I would like to see that also. The radiator support looks interesting. Pics please?

Winmon 10-15-2014 06:30 PM

Incredible build guys!!! Can't wait to see it in person. Alot of very cool ideas in this car

Its tight for sure.. The bracket will drop down with 4 bolts if needed...

Heres a pic with the wires connected, They route up the side of the engine, behind the starter.

Very nice work!!!

waynieZ 10-24-2014 04:46 AM

Nice work. I like what you did with the dash. The car's going to shine at SEMA.

NOPANTS68 10-24-2014 07:18 AM

Holy smokes that car is beautiful. That orange color used as a accent piece is bitchin. That's the stuff that separates you pros from garage hacks like us. Imagaination and talent make for some pretty stuff.

Rick D 10-24-2014 07:22 AM

So cool I love the details, wish I was going to make Sema this year!
