The wiper motor hole is round on a 67.

It looks like the Wegner drive setup. Powermaster sells black alternators. RS probably does the compressor in house to match. I would LOVE to put together this exact drive setup on my BBC... Jeff- |
Thanks Shannon!

Thanks again for all the comments! The car is at upholstery now and hopefully will be back in time to wrap it up and debut at Columbus.
The car is actually a 67. The customer decided he didn't want vent windows so we put 68 doors on it. All of the other distinctions between the 2 years have been changed to something custom (except the wiper hole). The front drive is from Wegner. It comes with the black alternator and a/c compressor. Very nice components! Weld, I'm thinking your 40 P/U should have some yellow calipers! HAHA!! |

How did you handle the doors since the door hinges are completely different? |
pure awesomeness , just unbelievable
|
What side mirrors are those?

There are a few other give always that it is a 67 like the lack of asto ventilation in the dash and door jambs. You can also tell it is an early production run 67 because it has the original telephone stamping in the door jamb. |

It's your fault they're not! Was't on the option sheet.... : > ) Love the car... as usual it's 100% top notch RS work. |
Insane build
|
Are there any pics of the finished interior yet?
|
Can you post a picture of the door latch mechanism and explain how you make it all work?
|
Wow that is beautiful. I love smooth and clean, my fav mod style, I also love 68's. This is just perfect. Thanks for sharing

Very well done! It rocked the auto cross in Columbus!
|
I'm thinking what looked off to some (Greg!) about the yellow calipers was actually the chrome or polished hoops on the mock up wheels. Car looks killer ...and thanks for the photos!

What seats are those? I love them!

nice work....so much to look at.
nice valve/coil covers |
How did you get the rear seats to match the fronts?
|
Stunning!
|
I love the thought of Corvette "handles". I want to do that to my 3rd gen, but I just had it painted and don't feel like going through that again.
|
Outstanding build, so many details to look at. The interior is awesome in itself.
|
Who makes the door panels?
|
Chris,
What push-button start and keyfob for door locks did you use? |
^^^ same question
|
hard to tell is that trim gloss or trim black?
|
really debating about blacking out my grill now the entire way. Love this love this
The black drip rail matches nicely also. Makes the bottom windshield molding part that overlaps the fender not stick out as much. |
Any of you guys know the exact color code for the satin black they used on the engine bay, trim and rear valance?
I'm looking for just the right shade of satin black.. |
Very Nice!
