Any updates on this?

Big_dime85 10-31-2015 06:37 PM

I just read 8pages of awesome, only to be let down with a single update request on page 9. what do you have to say for yourself mister. You can answer with more high quality pictures of awesomeness.

Looks great Brycen! I love how tall the body is, with a short little top it's going to look spot on!

I gotta ask, what's the bare metal rig on the lift near the door?

Thanks, my main goal is to nail the proportions of the B25.

The car on the lift is a chopped Hillman with a small block and 31' slicks

I'd say you're nailing it! Nice work.

Big_dime85 01-26-2016 04:18 PM

love seeing this part of the process. one of my goals is to build a wide body open wheel roadster from scratch so my 6'4" 300lb frame fits in it comfortably. i think i may be able to employ some of these techniques when the time comes.

crestronwizard 01-26-2016 04:56 PM

This is so freakin' cool!!!

Spiffav8 01-26-2016 06:35 PM

Brycen it's looking really good! Couldn't have picked a cooler airplane to model it after.

Sieg 01-27-2016 07:44 AM

Impressive Brycen, keep the pedal down!
Did you get surface radius measurements off a B-25?

This brings a whole new dimension to the phrase "built not bought". Its fascinating to see how you do this.

WOW!!! Thanks for sharing these techniques- so enlightening... :wow:

MSTSFabbed 02-05-2016 08:09 AM

Its probably way too late now, but have you considered adding some big knock out holes in your cross boards in the buck? What I've seen of buck building, that really helps to be able to clamp the panel edges to the buck. Just a thought.

Looks awesome! Cant wait to see you start wheeling! Keep us updated!

FaBrycation 02-11-2016 12:30 PM

I am aiming to start metal work next week!
