SORRY for the lack of updates. I am also sorry to say that I havent worked on the car since August when we started thrashing for SEMA. Now that SEMA is over I am going to get some work done on this thing. stay tuned!!! |
Brycen it was great to meet you at SEMA. I really enjoyed taking with you about Ruptured Duck and about what the future holds for the project. Really looking forward to seeing progress.

For those of you who never met this man, all I can tell you is what a great guy he is !! Talked to him at length at the Lateral get together and enjoyed every minute of our conversation about this build. This car is going to be incredible..

Looks great Brycen! I love how tall the body is, with a short little top it's going to look spot on!
I gotta ask, what's the bare metal rig on the lift near the door? |
Quote:
Thanks, my main goal is to nail the proportions of the B25. The car on the lift is a chopped Hillman with a small block and 31' slicks |

love seeing this part of the process. one of my goals is to build a wide body open wheel roadster from scratch so my 6'4" 300lb frame fits in it comfortably. i think i may be able to employ some of these techniques when the time comes.
|
This is so freakin' cool!!!
|
Brycen it's looking really good! Couldn't have picked a cooler airplane to model it after.

Impressive Brycen, keep the pedal down!
Did you get surface radius measurements off a B-25? |

This brings a whole new dimension to the phrase "built not bought". Its fascinating to see how you do this.

WOW!!! Thanks for sharing these techniques- so enlightening... :wow:

Its probably way too late now, but have you considered adding some big knock out holes in your cross boards in the buck? What I've seen of buck building, that really helps to be able to clamp the panel edges to the buck. Just a thought.
Looks awesome! Cant wait to see you start wheeling! Keep us updated! |

Looks so badass with the wheels on it. How much more work before you start the metal work phase?
|
I am aiming to start metal work next week!
|
This just keeps getting better and better! Nice Brycen
