Cool. Thanks for the information.

Awesome build guys! Question for ya, I am working on a 69 Camaro as well and put it on a Max G Chassis. I am making custom rocker panels and I am unsure how the best way to let the water out from the cowl and quarter panel window area. Did you completely remove the outer rocker panel and and graft it in at the door jamb and then underneath the car? Or did you just put the new rocker over the old one? Thanks in advance!

Haven't updating in awhile. Here's some pics taken before BBT Charger SEMA crunch. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ec6c1040a9.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...263c2ad9c3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...395c755c01.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ecd8b6eba5.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ad674c24e6.jpg

Marty and I did a road trip down to BBT to see the car. BBT has made some great progress. Decided to make the convertible a coupe!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cd911b3680.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...fecf19745f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ad00d578aa.jpg

Wow, the work here is outstanding! I would love to see more of the pictures during the fabrication stages. Like what tools are being used.

Yes, you got. Removable hard top. Six bolts are holding it in. Complete custom fab out of aluminum. 25-30 pounds right now. Will be covered in a convertible cloth and as you can see by the pictures has ridges in the top to make it look more like a convertible top. Here is a video walk through of the car. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...99437b931b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...99437b931b.jpg |

I'm loving watching this build on the BBT Fab Instagram. I especially love the all of the custom aluminum panels!

I thought I’d share some build pics of the removable top. While we could of opted for an OEM type lever to attach the front, Troy and I wanted a real positive seal and we opted for 4bolts. Here’s the windshield frame getting the “nut inserts”installed. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...648dcb1b3f.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b9d69b2fe7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...92f10cd531.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...92158f6cb5.jpg |
