Seems like you spend your whole life working on how your rear end looks.

Watts going on here?

Nice work.

How do you like the axle housing alignment tool? I have the same one but I haven't had a chance to use it yet. I set it up and it looks accurate and sturdy. I also think the measuring template looks like a huge time saver. What is your opinion so far?

D-$ 11-09-2017 04:14 PM

First off thank you for your interest in my build. I am very proud of the project and am grateful when folks like you have kind words. I am the owner of the car not the builder so speaking about the tools is impossible for me because most of this is very new to me. There are a lot of times I have answers based on the build being my vision but the execution of the build is where I lack the ability to answer questions. I have been asked not to share the builders name so I can't defer to him.

You are very welcome.

As a person who builds my own projects and helps friends with theirs, I have a great deal of interest in quality automotive fabrication work. I like what you are doing with the car and I like how the builder is taking time mocking things up and laying them out.

Whoever the Invisible Man is, you found a good guy or group of guys to build your dream. No worries, I respect the request for privacy from the builder. I actually found the tool through a guy I met on another forum and I'm excited to use it.

Thank you for sharing, I'll be looking for your future updates.

The B Billar work has begun.

The section under the support was completely rusted away. The lower section wasn't even welded. The only thing holding the inner section was the striker bolt and seam sealer. Scary stuff...

I am sure lots of the small or home builders share my feelings that once this is done it will all be old hat. So much work left to do... :(

Build-It-Break-it 07-08-2018 05:04 PM

Beautiful work being done. Are those frame rails Art Morrison or Auto weld? Love the progress on your car.
