Randy,

Good to meet you today. I remembered seeing this thread a while ago and did not put 2 and 2 together until I got home. I can't wait to see it when it is done. Any chance of it being at SEMA this year?

Jeff,
It was also nice to meet you. Not shure if the camaro will be done. We (tom nelson and I)backed out of sema this year since some components are only in the drawing stage and need to be built. It will be a few months yet. If it gets done by sema we will try for a long shot.

Thanks
Randy

What size rim does it take to fill out that 345-18 BFG Drag Radial? What offset? Did bent custom do the fuel system?

1984 camaro 10-07-2007 03:20 PM

rims

The rims are 12 inches wide 2.5 outer and 9.5 inner and yes bent custom did all the stainless lines. I will be at nelsons on the 29th tom and I are going to sema on the 30-31st. That 92 you have looks good

Thanks for the kind words, still a country mile away from where your car is. I work for one of the major manufacturers local to Nelson Racing which I'll leave nameless. I have to work SEMA will the car be there? Will it be in a booth or outside?

Sorry the car will not be done for sema. The car is at toms shop so you are close to it. If you see tom at sema I will be with him.

Stopped in at Nelsons on monday to see the camaro. The tubs are done and Scott was going to paint the floor pan this week. Nelson had a twin turbo on the dyno and got to see that bad boy run at 2 am. The car looks great Mark at bent tubbing done the mini tub and hard lines. That guy is outstanding. Tom and I went to the sema show were i meet tons of people. We also went to the lateral g and pro-touring party. The trip was a blast and I will be their next year

Thank you, I wish I could have seen the car when it was here in town @ Lemons. Any pictures will be appreciated! I had planned to get my 69' Camaro going first, but it is on the back burner now as I plan to continue on building up my 91'

I saw your tubs personally and damn mark did a good job on those. Your camaro is probally one of best uses of pro touring on a 80's GM product so far. Your camaros gets it, I Like the thing quite a bit.

I surfed Marks site ( www.bentcustomandperformance.com ) yesterday and all I can say is WOW !!!

I wonder if I could persuade him to do a road trip to Arkansas to plumb my truck. I would be honored :hail: to have his quality on my project.

Ship your car the cost is not that bad I just shipped a car from florida to wisconsin enclosed trailer for 1,200 bucks door to door. I felt the cost was worth the getting a great job. Just my .02 cents:yes:

I actually don't have a problem shipping the truck to them it's just a time issue that we are backed into. Maybe the next project. Heck I may just ship them the motor.
