Seats
Thank you !!
Here you go ... These seats are as comfortable as the Recaro's I put in my 69' Camaro, but the finish is WAY better and the leather as well. I'd put these seats in anything Heated too ... https://www.lucari-solutions.co.uk/p...interiors.html Cheers Steve |
Cleaned her up ....
Extremely happy with the way she came out, the feedback has been overwhelming as I get guys stopping me everywhere I go

BIG Question
Now ... which one do I keep ? LOL
https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...eab5a32a_k.jpgIMG_9931 by Steve Heck, on Flickr |
That's a very hard one. Both are so nicely done. I love the blue one as that's my favorite color, but the grey one is just so sinister looking. Decisions....decisions!!
|
The blue one is amazing. Well done, Sir!
Andrew |
Which one do you like driving better?
They are both beautiful so it would come down to driving preference to me. |
Damn, I wish that was my biggest problem! This is when being in decisive really helps, I'd keep them both! Real world I like hard tops more so the blue one, and that's the only thing I like more one over the other. I Love them both.
|
Steve my vote is sell the blue one.. i like a modern touch to the grey one . The blue one is just to stock aka restored looking for me lol but , hey they're yours and they are both amazing in pics and in person
|
Thanks guys
Thanks everyone !!
So finally picked up the grey one yesterday and got to drive her for a bit. OMG sooooo different then the blue one. Fast, aggressive, loud ... its like the muscle car of 4x4's LOL. So at 1st Ryan I would have agreed that the grey one is the one to keep but I have to say the nostalgia of the blue 66' is really growing on me. And now once I replace the 4:11 gearing with the 3:70's this week it will drive so much better, not that it doesn't now. PLus ... this just came in yesterday for the blue https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...54ddbb44_k.jpgScreen Shot 2020-08-10 at 10.44.20 AM by Steve Heck, on Flickr And the beautiful black / white stitch seats are coming out to be replaced with these (black ones are going into the grey one) On order ... 12 week wait !! https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...e1e7a3d9_b.jpgScreen Shot 2020-08-10 at 8.13.43 AM by Steve Heck, on Flickr |
Bronco
And on top of all of that, my buddy sent me a link just last night to a 1968 Ford Bronco here in Ontario that looks to be in not bad shape !!
Crap, this one is on my top 3 list !! Let you guys know Oh Ryan, my buddy is thinking of doing a 70' Chevelle ... how's your coming ?? Steve |
Lmao the chevelle is almost in rewind .. sold the ls7 and t56 , ZR1 brakes are going on the silverado . Going back to Z06 brakes for the chevelle , sold my Anvil carbon hood and trunk . New plans await lol .... i will be going either lt1 or lt4 with hopefully the 10 speed auto , ultra carbon has everything carbon for the chevelle . Also VERY seriously looking at doing a C6 i.r.s so i may have a 12 bolt on the market soon . Now i just need to find some money

Itching to build something else again guys ... been too long Going to 'rock' the grey one for the next week or so topless !! Hmmmmm .... FUN IF someone is interested in the grey one let me know https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...dbaaa5fa_k.jpg61963939404__77075BD8-0436-42D0-B46E-1A5374B20E47 by Steve Heck, on Flickr https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...9d124771_k.jpgIMG_7207 by Steve Heck, on Flickr |
If you're going topless, go ahead and lay that windshield down!
I think the tops are what would be the deciding factor for me...my preference is a hardtop...that I would probably never take off. Jeff- |
