We are using The steel hood from Jackass with some mods to clear the LT5. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...4905fb5825.jpg

Lookin good Charlie. But, I must ask. If you used Jackass's hood...what is Jackass going to use going forward?

Jackass had a VW latch on it originally when the car was done the first time. I converted the hood back to use the stock latch

Who owns Jack Ass now anyway?
Love the direction this one is heading, too. |

Wow that's quite the responsibility being a care taker for those rides. I'm in Iowa does this "idiot friend Jason" have a shop that does amazing work? |
They are his cars. Has no shop but alot of cars. Mostly survivor Musclecars but I suckered him into liking Stielow stuff.

The metal work on the hood is beautiful!

People who can do that type of sheetmetal fabrication are my heroes. :king:

That looks great! Curious, did you leave the cowl vent in the rear to help release air from under the hood instead of using extractors? I'm guessing that would work even though there's a slight positive pressure at the cowl, the pressure under the hood from the air coming in the grill would be enough to offset that and more.
