Jonny, Have you started tearing the car apart for paint yet? I know I already told you about twenty times last week but I gotta say it again, Hats off to you and all the guy's involved in that build. That is very nicely done and looks Badass!! :hail:

Kurt, It was nice meeting and talking to you at SEMA.The car is being plumbed right now.It will be a complete driver then it will get torndown. There are a few issues that need to be addressed on the body as well. I talked to Pascual today and we are going to decide what show's we are going to do.I am considering the power tour,I need to look into it more. Thanks for the compliments Im glad you liked it. |

I went back and there right there, clear as day ! I guess I was looking for the 'Orange' of the lenses and missed them.... thanks again ! |
Wow, very clean... I love the motor and the way the engine compartment looks... Congrats!
:hail: |
Jonny this was absolutely my favorite car at SEMA this year. I know it's not finished but I just love that raw look. I love all the details that can't be seen at first glance. You've inspired me to get back to work on my project.

Jonny, Maybe somebody else already mentioned this but I think the added grill opening below the front bumper is perfect!
The rear pan and tailpipe treatment reminds me of Sick Fish but it is executed just as well. Very nice tie-in with the rear diffuser. Don't be surprized if there is a '69 up in Minnesota that mimic's your mods someday (not Scott's either!). Thanks for the inspiration. |
I'd leave it in primer.
|
Jon, what do you think about posting the flat black rendering? It's bad ass and I know it would be a hit.
|
Here ya go!Oh and there is no way we are leaving it primer.

Loved your car..
Pasqual PROMISED me a cool shot of the car in the shop. I nailed a great engine shot and with the rendering I will run a full page on your ride. :) So bug him about it.. do it.. do it.. lol That car is sick and makes mine look pretty damn simple.. |

So what kind of shop pic do you want? |

WOW!!!
Awesome ride!!  |
That is an awesome car man, best stance and look i've seen yet. I really like the black/flatblack rendering. That's the color combo i was considering for my car before i picked up another Hugger orange car and decided to do HO on this one. I really like it and keep us posted on even more progress...I love those tips and the mod to the lower valence on the back.

Jon Thanks,
373 cu in. I am planning a 400 cu in motor and settled on the same heads. Good to know I am on the right track. Fully CNCed they flow 330cfm! That is a wicked Camaro. Mal |
No problem Mal,good luck with you're project.
|
Jonny,
Do you have any pics of the turbos mounted in place without the fenders and other body work hiding them? |

don't paint it!
leave it flat! some other color if need be, but it looks more evil in the sealer. the world has enough shiny first gen F-bodies. |
