Actually they were built by a guy named Ryan who has a shop at Infineon. His mother passed away when he was building them, needless to say he had to stop before he finished.Joe at Marquez design finsihed them up.

Kurt,
It was nice meeting and talking to you at SEMA.The car is being plumbed right now.It will be a complete driver then it will get torndown. There are a few issues that need to be addressed on the body as well.
I talked to Pascual today and we are going to decide what show's we are going to do.I am considering the power tour,I need to look into it more.
Thanks for the compliments Im glad you liked it.

Jonny this was absolutely my favorite car at SEMA this year. I know it's not finished but I just love that raw look. I love all the details that can't be seen at first glance. You've inspired me to get back to work on my project.

Thanks man,I am glad you liked it.

Jonny, Maybe somebody else already mentioned this but I think the added grill opening below the front bumper is perfect!

The rear pan and tailpipe treatment reminds me of Sick Fish but it is executed just as well. Very nice tie-in with the rear diffuser.

Don't be surprized if there is a '69 up in Minnesota that mimic's your mods someday (not Scott's either!).

Thanks for the inspiration.

hectore3 11-09-2006 08:05 PM

I'd leave it in primer.

XcYZ 11-09-2006 08:08 PM

Jon, what do you think about posting the flat black rendering? It's bad ass and I know it would be a hit.

jonny51 11-09-2006 08:55 PM

Here ya go!Oh and there is no way we are leaving it primer.

Pasqual PROMISED me a cool shot of the car in the shop. I nailed a great engine shot and with the rendering I will run a full page on your ride. :)

So bug him about it.. do it.. do it.. lol

That car is sick and makes mine look pretty damn simple..

That is an awesome car man, best stance and look i've seen yet. I really like the black/flatblack rendering. That's the color combo i was considering for my car before i picked up another Hugger orange car and decided to do HO on this one. I really like it and keep us posted on even more progress...I love those tips and the mod to the lower valence on the back.

William
