The razor blade helps..... in some of the pix its hard to tell just how thick it is........damn.....
Tony......did the metal seem that bad? Where you expecting Chris to do alot of metal work before the filler work? Or did he just slap in on over pretty straight metal....which is even worse..... |

Wow! I don't have a razor blade with me, but If I'm looking at that pic right, there is near 1/4" of filler? I'm speechless. A great story to follow. Hope to see the car in person someday. Keep up the good work for Tony!

Ned, the car had many new panels on it, so no I didn't expext to see much filler on the car. The doors were nice, so I have no idea what that's all about? He mentioned that the decklid wasn't fitting all that well and he didn't know how to fix it...looks like he finaly just built it up with plastic! I'm actually in a little bit of shock at the moment as I'm seeing these pics for the first time! I had no idea the car looked like that under the bad paint. Thank God Pete decided to strip the car!! Thanks again Pete!! |
Wow..If it walks like a duck it probably is a duck. Half ass one thing you are bound to half ass the rest. That was the main reason I brought up stripping the car a few weeks back. It wasn't challenging Pete as many thought, but generally people are pretty consistent. Bad or good. Pete...are you going to the Lateral G party?

Hey look at the bright side.............You had composite panels just like a Vette.......:willy: :willy: :willy: :willy: :willy:
