I had no idea you guys were pregs. Congrats and well wishes, now back to our regular scheduled programming |
Car looked really good out there yesterday Craig. How did the Holley yesterday?
I developed a stumble, might be the 9 month old gas lol, or the nut behind the wheel (I had a not so good driving day, but a great day with friends) |
Had a great weekend. Surprised a few people and hurt some feelings :D.
All the hard work payed off and the car performed flawlessly. The RE-71Rs picked up 0.2g's in grip over the 615K+ and I picked up 10 mph with the new motor. This was my best run from Saturday was an 82.6. I studied the videos and logs and made some line changes for Sunday. First run was down to 80.2 plus one cone. By the end of the day I was down to a 79.8 which was good enough for 2nd in Street Machine and 10th overall. I made it into the shootout but took myself out on the first run by overcooking the second straight and plowing through some cones. Better luck next time, but at least I am in the running again. This was my run from Saturday. I'll post up the 79.8 with telemetry later. |
Best run from the weekend. The new motor rips. 52 mph in first gear and 1.2 cornering 1.4 braking g’s.

Excellent. Hard work paying off!

Great news Craig.. glad the car
is doing what you want... always a good feeling Bob |
Car looks VERY composed Craig! Nice work.
Man that's a long course...I've seen a few sideline videos of it but first one from inside the car for me. Would have loved to run that a few times to get the hang of it. I too have made the shootout a few times now but haven't been able to do anything with it once in. That's the next thing I want to do, win at least one round in one. :D |
