I know what you mean about the aerocatches being rather large. They're cool but take up a lot of real estate! I have a set sitting here on my desk that will end up on my new hood sooner or later, once my heat extractor vents from Maier Racing get here and I get off my butt and order a new glass or CF hood to put the vents into.
I may end up selling the aerocatches though, as I'm leaning towards a pin on hood for function over form. It's so much easier working under the hood when you can just take the hood off and set it aside yourself. :P |

yeah, wouldn't be great if the wind caught the hood and blew it away!................#293

We're almost there Cody.. :woot:
lol Here are some pics from yesterday.. the black close-off has been added along with the hood. I will have to modify it since my radiator cap is on the drivers side.. damn cars! http://www.lifeinwidescreen.com/siihp/badgirl.jpg And how she looks.. still need to suck the front wheels in (at Forgeline) to accomodate the C5 suspension. Oh, and the back needs to come down with the coil overs. http://www.lifeinwidescreen.com/siihp/badgirl2.jpg |

The RA1's in 335's look massive.

work of art Steve, I'm impressed.

Looks great... but now with the black radiator closeout you really need to black anodize those hood hinges IMO. They are an "attention getter" over the rest of the engine because the bright finish is out of place with the rest of the color scheme.

In the pics they sorta bling because they catch the flashes.. :) Maybe someday I will rip them apart and do it, it certainly is NOT an easy task.. |
Not bad for a 68. :drive:
