Good Morning All,

This post is all the friends I've made on these Bulletin Boards.
It's amazing how many people where involved in creating the brake pedal for my truck.

First Person Involved was Rodger from Iron Works
Roger drew the original pedal arm for his C6-57 Project and yep he will be selling these.
Below is the link to the project:

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...e_02.sized.jpg

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...Assemblies.jpg

Then Shannon from www.modoinnovations.com stepped in -- pardon the pun
and sent us one of his really cool brake pedals.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...ions.sized.jpg

Not to worry were going to give him the pedal back.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._20_mi100a.jpg

syborg tt 11-20-2008 02:08 PM

Then Ron Wilson from www.hoodpins.net stepped in and made the modification to Rogers Pedal Design.
If you need to have cad files created this is something Ron can do. [email protected]

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...odpins_net.jpg

Our goal was to make the pedal arm look similar to the Lokar Gas Pedal
and yes we will be using Shannons Gas Pedal

First Ron created the pedal pad and made it look similar to Shannon's Pedal.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...lsonpad3_4.jpg

Then Ron made the modifications to the Pedal Arm.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...rake_Pedal.jpg

So now we have Brake Arm that matches the Lokar Gas Pedal
and a Brake Pad that will match Shannon's Brake Pad.

Good Morning All,

Kenny sent the Valve cover back for the last time.

I took them over to Dennis High Speed Welding - he added a couple bungs on the back of the valve covers.
Just in Case.

www.highspeedwelding.com

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._07_GT_001.jpg

Kenny was even good enough to tell us exactly where he wanted the bungs.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._07_GT_003.jpg

Intake Tube looking nasty - man this thing needs some paint.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._07_GT_005.jpg

Now all three pieces are in Rich Miltons hands getting cleaned up.
Rich is going to smooth the Valve covers & intake tube.

Once he's done with them he will hand them over to Bob Thrash so he can work his magic.

Kenny_Cox 12-04-2008 04:41 PM

um Marty, your photos are not showing up! They don't show up on s10forum either, you're going to have a lot of pissed off addicts here buddy!:willy:

syborg tt 12-09-2008 01:17 PM

It's been a long weekend.

Some of you may already know that Kenny was injured over the weekend at a Rock Crawling event.

He was ejected from the vehicle as it rolled over landing on him crushing his skull.

He was life flighted to St John Hospital in Tulsa, OK where they put over 20 plates and more then 30 screws in his head. They had to removed some of his brain tissue that was exposed to prevent infection. They feel that the loss of brain tissue shouldn't be a problem.

He also suffered a Fractured Cheak Bone, Broken Foot & Ruptured Ear Drum.

It has been a trying couple days for the family but it seems like Kenny is doing incredibly good actually better then they expected. So good that this morning he was able to eat breakfast and they will be moving him out of ICU.

At this point and time it doesn't appear that he has any problems.

It is a miracle that he is alive and doing so good all I ask is that everyone please say a prayer for Kenny and his family.

There are a bunch of people sending Kenny T-shirts & magazines as a get well wish and if you would like to do the same you can send them to:

Travis Ball
13821 toepfer rd
garfield, Ar 72732

I am sure he would appreciate it.

midnightbluS10 12-09-2008 02:25 PM

Whoa! Sorry to hear that. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Kenny_Cox 12-09-2008 05:54 PM

Definitely, best of wishes to him and his family. Hopefully he'll pull through and quickly too!:(

syborg tt 12-11-2008 08:12 PM

Good Morning All,

Well, I have good -- No, I have GREAT News Kenny is home resting with his family.

So since he's home I figure I would continue updating all of the hard he has been doing on the truck.

The AAW Wiring harness installed and almost complete in this picture.
One of the best features is that all of the wires dead head at the fuse panel.
This helps to keeps all of the wiring super clean under the dash and makes for an easy install.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._kd_gt_002.jpg

The Sparco seats installed in the truck.
The seat cushion is going to take a little work but they may work.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._kd_gt_004.jpg

More pictures of the Dash wiring.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._kd_gt_008.jpg

Air Ride Controller -- waiting for a home in the Center console.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._kd_gt_009.jpg

We have plenty of update that I can share between now and Christmas so keep watching the BB's.

I also want to thank everyone that kept Kenny and his family in there thoughts and prayers this past week.
It has really meant a lot to them and everyone close to them.

Life has taught me one thing people may come and go in your life but great friend are irreplaceable
and I look forward to being able to call Kenny when I'm bored at work just to see what's going on.

slamdimpala 12-12-2008 06:48 AM

Truck is looking great Marty as you already know. Its kind of funny how when something like what happened to Kenny makes you stop and think about how fast life can change. Its great that Kenny is home now,you always feel better at home. Is the truck still going to be at the world of wheels?

I doubt it will make Chicago. But since your local you are welcome to come over anytime and look at the truck.

Good afternoon All,

Taking everyone way back to May 26,2006 for this picture.

Dave from Comp Fab did the Sheetmetal Dash Conversion
www.comfab.com
I did the designed layout for the quages.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._05_26_054.jpg

Then Doc over at Docs Kustom cut the custom Dash Panel.
www.docskustom.com
All the Guages sit at different heights instead just being flush mounted.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._12_31_012.jpg

Kenny put the Dash in for the last time on his watch.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._kd_gt_010.jpg

Remember these ?
Just wait till you see them in the dash !!

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._07_02_002.jpg

syborg tt 12-17-2008 07:45 PM

Kenny fit all of the guages in the Dash Panel
I just can't wait to sit behind the wheel and look at the dash.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...15_kd_gt_1.jpg

While I was walking the floor at Sema I ran into Steve at Twistmachines.
www.twistmachine.com
Steve has some pretty cool Products - One that I just had to have.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...nes_banner.jpg

Steve is now offering these Trick Billet Guage Bezels
Just one more trick Part to Set off the Interior.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album...zels.sized.jpg

plenty more pics to come next week.

tobenk 12-17-2008 08:02 PM

Good Morning All,

Happy New Year to all.

Well, Kenny & Travis are back at it.

The glass was installed front and Back.

http://www.syborgtwinturbo.com/album..._KD_GT_025.jpg

If you look closely you can see that the inside of the windshield has a black border all the way around.
It really adds a nice detail that not many people will every notice.

Originally we hoped for Detroit - but we've pushed the date out to the Power Tour & Indy Good Guys, then Columbus Good Guys.

I talked with Kenny over the weekend and this morning. He really sounds great. He is still having some problems with his vision, loss of hearing in his right ear and head aches. They also just figured out that the right side of his skull is fractured as is his jaw.

This explains some of his problems. But like he said every day is just a little bit better.
