Thanks guys. I'll see about dropping by the Flamingo Tuesday. Maybe even in brotouring attire. I'll definitely be going over to Pahrump on Saturday too, mostly in hopes of getting a couple rides around before things officially start.
Doug, do you mean, how did we get it sitting the way it is in the pictures with the Anvil inner fenders?
First, the stance is lower than expected because of all the added weight from the interior and the glass, so at some point there will be some tedious wrenching on the coilovers to bring the front up another half inch. Chris spent a good amount of time trying to raise the front but it didn't do much. As for making the Anvil inner fenders fit, well, they were really just "SEMA fit," which means we just cut the lip with the bolt holes around the wheel opening off, and were prepared to be really careful about making turns since we lost an inch of space. I swear, Dick was right when he said that no car he's worked on has ever fought harder. Some of it is my fault for pulling the trigger on new parts at the last minute, but still, Bad Penny's CF just bolted right up for the most part.
