I didn't do much this weekend. I need an engine. Looks very likely for this coming week. :thumbsup: However I went off the deep end on the brushing. All AC/Heat fittings, air cleaner lid, hose seperators, and both breather catch cans. All sealed and ready to go.

Are you running a catch can off of both valve covers?

Yep, my new engine builder recommended it and not why you think. It's a matter of crank case air speed. One vent would evacuate the system but the air speed is higher and will carry more oil vapor. I didn't have any issues with the old setup but I only road raced it once. I'd rather it was over kill if anything.

What do you use as a sealer? Matt finish clear?

Just Wizards metal sealer.

What oil pan will you be using?

Hoping to dyno it still this week. I'll talk to Jason later today but that was the game plan. I'll be running the Milodon road race pan with scraper and windage tray along with a 3 quart accumulator.

That will be plenty of oil protection. Did the builder let you know what he's expecting for power numbers?

Not seriously, it's just to late in the game. That was a decisioin that needed to be made about 2 years ago in the fabrication stage. This will work fine.

Yep, I'm heading over there at 7 AM to watch hime break it in and then find the sweet spot. I'll have HD video and dyno sheets soon. :D
