I can't make Optima this year with this car. For me to get this car ready for Optima would be a huge effort :G-Dub: I am aiming to have this car done for 2014 unless I win the lottery..... Mark |

Hey Mark,
If Charlie won't let you use one of your previous works of art this year you are welcome to use Lou's Change!!! hehe It's LSA powered and it doesn't have ABS brakes... You could show the world it's your driving skills more than the car that have made you so successful!!! I wish. |
I would imagine having such a gnarly blower on there that the engine would be mostly insensitive to primary length, as you're going to have torque all over the place. The physical gas gas flow shouldn't be affected by mid shorty vs. long tube headers, and the ground clearance is a huge bonus.
Great build Mark! |

Wow, 315s on the front. I've been thinking about upgrading to the Anvil front clip, more for the front tire even than the weight savings. The DSE suspension is overall a pretty balanced track package for me, but especially in long sweeping turns I think more front grip would be useful. Do the 18 inch wheels impact your brake choice? I think you mentioned carbon ceramic brakes somewhere on the thread, but I've heard the ZR-1 brakes won't clear an 18" wheel? |
Hi Mark,
Why do you need shorties to run the 2002 motor mounts vs aftermarket urethane ones? Shouldn't the urethane mounts just be a direct replacement for the OEM ones? |

You can get an 18 wheel over a Corvette ZR-1 brakes but you need to get the correct wheel. Mark |

Awesome work and engineering. And Thanks for sharing your ideas. Mark. Maybe you can get ideas about the paint to the XV from this video Inside Koenigsegg when Christian explain the paint job on their carbon cars. Or search Agera Hundra. It Looks beautiful with its golden stripes.
