Sheet metal doesn't feel all that bad Thursday we'll have the car all back together in bare metal and we'll see what we have. |
Just got home and finally get to log in!
Pete, thanks for taking/sharing all the pics! Its just crazy what paint will hide...except the bee's nest, no chance there!! I'm very excited to see the car all together and looking like a fresh start on Thursday! It's nice to now know exactly what we have and only one paint job...after all, that was the plan all along!! Thanks again!! |
My pleasure

Hey Pete, I got a quick question for you. I have been doing more and more bodywork, have tried a couple different primers. Is there any one primer that you seem to like better? We're doing comlete cars so it's blasted and bare metal to start. I seem to like the PPG stuff. Thanks,Jon.

If your using PPG, I'd use there DP first on the bare metal and one of the 2 part primers .
I haven't used PPG in awhile but we used to use K36 for the primer PPG good products so if you like them I'd stick to what your using |
Just about all gone!! :woot:

Anthony and Pete its going along good.

Wow Pete! Ya know, when I talked to Anthony and he was trying to decide what to do with the car, where to send it. I told him I knew you did killer work, fast, and I thought you was a stand up guy.
From the get go I told Anthony I thought if the paint was done poorly, and considering everything else, I would have real trouble trusting the bodywork. When I talked to you the other night I was not surprised it needed striped or that you made the decision to do whats best for the project, even if it cost you more time and money. Your the real deal brother. See you in Vegas. The first ones on me. |
