Mary that's the logical next step for me. They just told me no more sharp object so scissors are out.

Attachment 49830 We were considering the MAST heads as part of the engine rebuild. After speaking with Patrick Guerra who spec the new road coarse inspired cam, he suggested if we were looking for a superior head, to look at the newer Trick Flow LS3 255. He said they have an LS7 chamber which moves the intake valve away from the chamber wall which reduces valve shrouding and improves hp a great deal. I will be interesting to see were we end up power wise. The only bad part is having to remove all the casting to make these smooth as it's a lot of work! BTW, guys the boys are selling a lot of the stuff they pull off on Camaro5.com I figure I'd give you guys a heads up in case you are interest in any of the parts. Here is the link: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=373572 |
Al, what was the reason for the engine rebuild again? I thought you guys had a built engine for the car already?
Good luck to your son on getting those parts made and sold. He's got a heck of a calling card he's building. |
