Can someone explain the idea behind the bias adjuster and ABS combo? Is it safe to say without the bias adjuster your brake system is overly biased to the rear?

It is a one off system. My intent is to balance the car with out ABS then be able to turn the ABS on and off. If the system fails I want the base brake system to be balanced. A bunch of rear brake at the wrong time is bad.

Hi Mark,

Looks great. Since you are running a similiar brake setup, which adjustable proportioning valve is that?

Talk to you soon.

Thanks

Another question, what wall stainless did you go with for your brake lines?

Looks great Mark.

I believe its a Baer prop, which is made by willwood.

Just a few lines there. Very clean looking. I hope it performs as good as it looks

Looks great as always Mark. When you get the ABS to work on your car, will you be willing to share with us the process so that we can all have safer cars as a result? (you know that's crap right? I just want to stop as fast as you and throw caution to the wind). Seriously, I hope it is something that you can share--it would certainly be a new inovation towards making this hobby/sport/living a safer, faster, and even funner deal.

It's not too terribly difficult to do, I've been running the Bosch 5.3 ABS (from a C5) for about a year now. Just mount the rear wheel speed sensors, use C5 front hubs, wire, plumb, and test it out. I have mine set up to switch on and off if I don't want it, but it has worked wonderful so far.

Matt, that is great--I won't hijack the thread here, but I may PM you later, as I only have the Speedtech ATS spindles upfront---would be cool to at least try it.
