The engine harness has been modified for mil spec connectors and we are waiting for the doors and front fenders to comeback from primer to install.

Roger, who did the harness for you?

ironworks 08-03-2010 09:37 PM

We did the harness in house. Jason my wiring guru/ rc car mechanic does a good job.

Looks nice Roger. What size does your intake tube reduce to, 3-1/2"? I have a 4" tube with rubber couplings that is to bulky. I think I will make it smaller but I am also wondering how your MAF works. I have an insert like this type

I am guessing your is not like that?

Tom, the intake tube on mine is 3.5". Since we are running the Gm Performance Parts harness and ECU and it come with a weld on plate and a small MAF sensor. It works pretty slick, I believe it is on every Gm aftermarket harness.

Very, very nice!

Thanks Roger, I looked up that kit (19166568) and see what you mean. It eliminates the whole honeycomb thing which is nice for fabbing a tube.

Yeah it is pretty slick. It shows somebody at Chevy is thinking or looking out for us custom guys.

Hey Rodger where do you buy your Mil Spec stuff from? I need some bulkhead connectors like those. Thanks
