Sorry to hear about the trouble with your cranks and we hope the damage to yourself is healing well. We will get you a new set of Next arms under warranty coverage. As we talked about on the phone today you can have your new shop contact me and I will set up the warranty claim with them. This kind of tab failure is not something we expect to see, although we have made some changes in the carbon lay-up to strengthen the chaintabs further. The new Next cranks will serve you well. It starts out as a roughly shaped STEEL piece that is ran through the machine to form the desired shape. The die was designed in Solidworks and water jet cut from 1" steel. We then shape the dies to form the desired contour. It has 3 bend radius's in the piece, we the set up each half to give it just tiny peak in the middle to go with the stock peak in the tail panel. Just a teeny tiny peak.
