Dry Sump Tank
Here is what the dry sump oil tank is looking like... Basically a 6 inch cylinder with a rectangular addition to it for added capacity & to fit in the cowl tulip.. All internals are like any standard tanks you would buy from aftermarket companies.. We are stopping for now & going to assemble the fender on the car & wait for a few pcs. I need for the oil fill I need on the firewall..
http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/IMG_1302.jpg We hard lined the on the side of the engine to cross over the header.. Here is a pic of it.. Sorta! http://i1015.photobucket.com/albums/...n/IMG_1305.jpg |
Very Nice install Chris. Great place to put the tank.

Small details!
Last nite I spent 2 hrs trying to figure out how the hell I was going to run the valve cover hoses to the oil breather tank.. 10 & 12 hoses are huge not to mention the fittings.. So, this moring we came up with a game plan & strarted plumbing.. DAMM firewall to engine clearance was making it tough.. Made a punch list if we pulled the motor if we would work faster.. It was worth it.. These details you will never see but make a world of difference..
