Jeff's silver car took first and another Camaro we built Bruce Kunkle's "Golden Girl" took second. We received a lot of great feedback about Jeff's car. It is a crowd favorite. I have really enjoyed building it. So many custom things were done to it (both large and small). I love the unassuming simpleness to it at first glance, but if you know Camaros you can really see how much it has been modified with a keen eye. I have put exactly 600 miles on it to date. I think I have shaken every gremlin out of her and made the corrections. The car is so much fun to drive, it is low, very loud, and fast. Blasting down a windy road is reminiscent to a Penske Sunoco Camaro I was hired to drive for two seasons in a historical race series. Now unfortunately I have ran out of excuses to keep it. It is time to send it home.

Awesome Jeff! Well deserved and congrats!

I was confused for a second, I live close to Cloverdale where there was a big show and for a second there I thought you brought the car here but... Clearly not Canada :shakehead:

Well said. Simple yet detailed at the same time. Love the old school minimalist look with modern components. Can't wait to get her home.

Looking forward to the Wed night out at Sears Point we talked about to see what she will run and getting to the next GG event and run the cones. Also want to do the 2014 Run to the Coast event.

Not only is Chris a builder he is a great tuner and suspension set up guy so we should have her dialed in good by then.

You enjoy that car and I hope you have years and years of trouble free driving...well except for tires, brakes and clutch replacements :)

Oh yeah. There will likely be many sets. I plan on driving her as much as I can and enjoying it.

Thanks but I just gave Chris the canvass and an idea of what I wanted. He worked his magic and executed on the concept bringing it to life.

The awards are more in recognition of the execution and efforts of Chris at WCAC and the crew that worked on it.

Brought here home today.

Had to stop for a cool pic along the way while ripping though the back roads.

It's good to have her tucked away in her garage.

Great pic!

I was thinking the same thing Greg. Lol! And it looks so nice the way it sits too.

It looks great Jeff, put some miles on it now!

Richio1 09-20-2013 06:52 PM

Oh yeah, I'll be driving the snot out of it. Got close to 90 miles yesterday on the way home and "running a couple errands" afterwards. Had a great time chasing a late model Trans Am through the back roads on the way home. He couldn't shake me ;)

i'm planning on getting out this weekend but it is suppose to rain. WTH, rain in September in CA?

Weather permitting I will get as many miles on her as I can. It's got over 700 now.

When I said tucked away... I meant in my garage, at home, where she belongs.
