I prefer the look of the stock grill over a billet one

My vote is for an original one, unless the billet one is painted/anodized/powdercoated black. You have lots of more modern looking finishes on the car, i.e. all of the carbon, and I think a bright grille would clash with the theme of the car.

i am in the same boat as you as i have a brand new rs grille and headlight assembly but plan on no front bumper. im leaning towards selling them to replace it with a std grill and lights...

How far forward is that engine mounted?

Im not sure how far forward it is. I am using Energy suspension LS swap mounts though.
