awr68 12-02-2010 11:16 PM

Thanks for the nice words guys...it keeps me going!

I just came in from putting on the last coat of wall color! I have a small patch to fix tomorrow due to a plumbing issue, but other than that and painting the breaker panel cover it's all painted!! :woot: :faint:

I will spend the next couple days finishing up that stuff and doing a deep cleaning! Times running out, the driver said the other day that he should be here Monday....weather permitting! :D :woot:

Man Tony, the car looks phenomenal as does the garage. I remember this thread from quite some time ago and its amazing to see the transformation. Just goes to show you what some kindhearted, talented, and generous people like those on this site can do. Congrats man. Cant wait to see pics of it in your garage and then soon on the road!

 cheers to a long overdue drive i hope you get to take real soon.

Greg I"ll let you know asap when I hear the exact delivery date! I could use some help getting it from the trailer and into the garage!

What's being done on the BBT?

awr68 12-03-2010 01:37 PM

Just got off the phone with the transporter office. They are sending the driver to Cali first, probably had to go south to get around weather so it makes more sence to drop the southern cars first. So we are looking at the second half of the week. They have been excellant to work with and all is good!

Greg, you have time to get the BBT back on the road!

tones2SS 12-03-2010 03:23 PM

That's pretty awesome the transporters are keeping you "in the loop".
Getting close Tony. Getting close.

zbugger 12-04-2010 11:27 AM

The garage looks awesome Anthony. I'm jealous. I'm just wondering though. No finish on the floor? I thought you were going to pamper the car with plush carpeting so the floor doesn't scuff up your tires?

So now what? Is it then going to be sent to Idaho, and then to Montana, and then to Wyoming and then to you and you'll have it two days after Christmas?
