So I was over at Watson Racing and we installed the old used oil pump and got my magnesium bellhousing cleaned up and ready for install later.... :_paranoid

Kidding of course. What was I thinking? Young rookie that I am...

No real car news but life news that certainly affects the car. In contract on another house and we think this is the one. And it's got a nice oversized 2 car garage so I'll be able to park my hot rod under my own roof for the first time.. ever.

Rich and I already have a plan for BW in September.... I'll be there... and driving... something.

Look at you trying to project your Euro influences on me.

I need to go pay Alex a visit and see if he'll let me borrow that car. :woot:

That'd be one heck of an expensive track car!

Congrats on the house.. Life news...I hear you loud and clear...

I understand what you are talking about.. I am in a pretty nice house and thought I was ready to maybe start on the next phase of my build,Interior and more power, and maybe a new truck, but as you can see from my avatar, my Wife has found her new dream home.. I will be making an offer on it ,in the next few months when it comes on the market.

I won't be upgrading anything on my car for a while..Thank God that I got the work I got done at Steve's shop Before she found this place..Another REO, just like last time, but this one is crazy sweet..

Now I can't blow up my LT-1. She said once we get the house and fix it up, I can work on my car again..haha, with what money ? Not the investment money...That is off limits..

I will be driving something too...An old Pick up truck and a Golf cart.. And a Z/28 with ratty Interior..

Rental Car. Rental Car! Rent a Mustang. They probably have some blue ones with white stripes, and they're not the fastest cars out there either, so that combo should make you feel right at home

Rent a GT 350 and go shut them all up... Then they will have to explain why a Ford/Rental car just beat them..

Maybe they have a miss in the engine, or the car is not set up right. Or the Tire pressures are off, or they are manstrating..That is when they are Bloated.

And smack talk is easy behind a Computer .. I should know..

Thanks.. I am working on my game..

No the spread is in Redding , where all the family is. Might be a little crazy, but the market is so soft, and I will get ready just in case.

I think she is a little crazy, but I will see what happens.. I created a monster..

So nix any AMG, or Denali truck, ect...No more Z/28 work.. But if the numbers crunch when it comes on the market, who knows..But if they don't crunch, I will have to crush her dream.

We can change my name from Mike the bucket list guy to Merrikat Mike, the " Dream Crusher"..

Hell, if you're not bringing your Camaro, maybe I'll bring mine now. I'm considering revalving the shocks, but might wait until after September so I've got at least one excuse.

Likewise, just make sure it is ready. Remember, it is going to need one of these:

Muffler bearings off Richard Petty's car.

OK, modified Bowtie heads w/ 2.155 intakes w/ beryllium seats and a Bowtie intake.

18 or 23*?

Sieg 05-25-2012 09:55 PM

I think they're the 18's, they were on the bench at the Springer's shop today and I thought of you http://d26ya5yqg8yyvs.cloudfront.net/FeelGood.gif

Very light, almost half the weight of my AFR's. Notice the filler ridge in the intake to swirl the flow?

Very juicy. I know the decks on the AFR's are thick but twice as heavy surprises me. Guess I don't need to use that mag bellhousing now after all. :D

They had 50cc chambers..............real FASTCAR stuff!!!

If he had a bigger piston it would be a moot point. :unibrow:

Pump gas? I thought they only had E85 in his region?

Track Junky 05-25-2012 11:22 PM

Seriously though, pump gas with 47.5 cc combustion chambers......is that even possible?

Before Todd calls you out on your math again, they're 47.5cc. :D

Thanks, fixed :lolhit:

Flash68 05-26-2012 01:28 AM

I see the knitting club had a meeting tonite while I was away.

Don't worry Mike has it all covered... max of -20cc dish and a piston design that he is confident in will net us around 11:1.

The rate I'm going I may say hell with it and say go dome and hit 2 hp per cube.
