Nothing much to speak of I'm still on to go get the car next week. I noticed I will need a certain type of U Haul trailer. Some have pieces of the ramp that stick up on the two center parts of the ramp and I don't want to get there and have them hit the bottom of the car. I know with no drive train and interior it will be higher than normal. But with the way this has been going I'm not taking any chances.
I'm excited to go get it and other times after going through this Blah! I hope I come around when it gets here.
With the price of gas I need to float a loan to go for it. lol

I got a call from Mike this morning The axles got there Friday and are installed in the rear.
I forgot to ask about the glove box and ashtray doors being painted. :faint:
Now he can install the Sub and sheet metal.
I hope the weather stays dry on the way home but It looks like a threat of thunder storms for the whole ride home.

My brother used to say (If it wasn't for my bad luck I'd have no luck at all!) I know what he means. Damed Irene ! she looks like shes going to ruin my plans to get the car. Plus My family in Fl. will be dealing with her. I'm going to keep an Eye on it and hope for the best.

My good friend used to say 'nothing good comes from towing,' meaning the best outcome is getting there safely which is a zero gain. Towing your baby in the rain sounds like no fun to me. Any way you can avoid it would be prudent in my mind Wayne. Everyone is rooting for you Buddy...

Thanks Ron I just called Mike to see if he can have it ready to load Thursday. I'm waiting to hear back.
I talked to my buddy Buster and he agreed if we leave here Tomorrow night and get to Mikes on Wednesday we can load some of the extra parts in my truck and the only thing left will be the car itself on Thursday. We'll spend Wednesday night getting some sleep for the ride home. I know I'll be awake with all the excitement.
When we brought it down it was January and we got caught in a snow storm on the way done. Thats was a joyful ride!
