Tyler, you got me there. I don't actually have any nice shots of the inner fenders in all of their carbon fiber glory. There was a really nice, tight shot of the engine, from a somewhat low perspective, showing off the inner fenders. It was a couple pages back, and taken by someone at cars and coffee. I think it fell victim to bandwidth constraints though, because it isn't showing up. I'll take some pics this week. Oh and the CF inner fenders have been a big hit at the two gatherings we've been to so far. Actually people ask about everything from Anvil.

Oh and we finally got to meet our fair share of "car guys," I heard people say it was everything from a 67 Camaro to a "Hotchis type of build" and someone even explained that we had some kind of ramjet motor. Ah car shows. I figure I might be able to last through one show season. Maybe...

You have to love how a bucket of coffee and a breakfast burrito on a Saturday morning makes every Schmoe and instant expert LOL!

Congrats on the first award Matt! Many more to come I am sure.

Car guys--LOL---that's awesome--hard to believe that a car of this caliber still gets the lame duck comments---I think we should call those guys "Car show guys"---I've never heard any lame comments at the track before---maybe we can isolate this type of behavior to just the shows--

You should try taking my truck to car shows and have to sit by it all day.

The 3 best comments, Honestly.

1. Does that thing have a Butt massager? No that is the air ride control panel.

2. Is That one of them there Haliburton rear ends? No Sir, I think you mean Halibrand rear end. No Son I said Haliburton. Oh Sorry, you right you did.

3. Why does it have 2 brake pedals? 2 brake pedals what do you mean? Look right there, see those 2 brake pedals....... OH, Sir that is a clutch pedal.

Car show season is almost upon us......I'm excited.....:D

Do the CF inner fenders allow for extra clearance given your car's stance? TIA - Ron

Yes. They are wider and taller than stock to allow (if you have the frame clearance) to run a 10" wide wheel without needing to mod your inner fenders.

Ron, as our car is set up now, the CF inners had to be modified to get the desired stance. We had rolled the fender lip up beforehand, so the two parts needed some modification to fit together. I don't think it would be possible to get this ride height, without rubbing on the outside, without modification. But as Tyler said, it can fit a 10 wide wheel. The wheel specs would have to be different or the height might have to come up 1/2" for a car without modification. I'd really like to see someone build a wheel around an aftermarket subframe and the CF inner fenders.
