Thanks for advice Lenie. Where did you get the blankets? I planned on coating everything as well. Just a little concerned with heat and being next to the frame and panels. I have plenty of room between the trunk floor and quarter panel. I know the mufflers are going to get hot but by the time it reaches the back I'm thinking it will not be that bad. Just want some reassurance. Maybe I'm over thinking it but I would rather be overkill than have an oh crap moment!! :) :)

Brent, I found two used racing blankets similar to this https://www.google.com/search?q=NOS%...ml%3B600%3B434
on ebay but larger, I cut them to size, my father inlaw stitched them up then I used stainless zip ties to put them on top of the exhaust under the front floorboards, x pipe and mufflers.
