You get Jake to fix his mistake?

WSSix 06-11-2014 08:30 AM

Ouch! Sorry Payton. I hope it gets fixed more easily than you're expecting.

Payton,

That sucks. I'll be watching the thread... I'm curious how you found the errors.

Payton King 06-11-2014 11:26 AM

With a tape measure.

Vince@Meanstreets 06-11-2014 11:43 AM

Is it interfering with sheet metal? Might be ok, it will give you more room for increased caster.

Oh... This sucks.

Payton King 06-11-2014 01:09 PM

It has 7 degrees of caster now, it would have to have 60 degrees to get the wheel base to 108 inches.

Holy hell! So the front suspension is an inch or so forward? I remember Ron/Dave/Rob being concerned about the ride height being 4x4ish, but it sounds like you've go a bunch of other issues that are worse.

Payton King 06-11-2014 01:52 PM

My car has 110 inch wheel base, the extra 2 inches are from the firewall forward. Rear is in correct spot. The front will have to be cut off and moved back 2 inches. Probably up 2 inches as well to correct some geometry problems.
