Steve I just now had a chance to look at the current PHR and the buildup / LSx swap photos. You did a great job with all the detailed info.
I'm concerned about your oil pressure sender, actually that small 45 deg fitting that you used in order to angle it away from the header...that fitting is going to break. The mass of the sender is too much for it, under vibration. (Think bowling ball stuck on the end of a broomstick). You might need to use a brass "block" style 45, or try to find some way to support the pressure sender "can", or, find somewhere else on the engine to pick up oil pressure... I only tuned into this because I had this happen to me once. It was not good. -Rob |

With today's technology I am also surprised at how big these damn senders are.. |
Yes you could tack a small strip of metal to the body of the sender can, which could be configured to reach a nearby unused threaded hole in the block, if there is one nearby...

Actually Forgeline called me yesterday, my wheels are done and on their way back here. Once they get here the car goes to alignment, exhaust, tune, interior (in that order) Then just a few minor wiring deals and it's done!!! Hopefully soon I will be on the road. |
Steve,
I'm curious...What is it you had done to your wheels? Refinish, repair or what!? Its been awhile they have them so i'm starting to be asking what the... Lead. |

Oh i am sorry for asking:( Do you plan on making feature(in phr) of installation of interior and small stuff ? I am sure that would be intresting. |

Guess I could do the exhaust system as a story, maybe tuning. The next big "for sure" story will be track testing and of course the obligatory car feature. For the title I'm thinking either "Bad Girl" or "Going for Broke" .. The later one seems appropriate since I am.. lol |
