Camaro LT5

Dakota Digital has finalized my gauges and are getting ready to make them. Great team to work with. They should look great!

I actually like that. Go figure...

What!?! After all the gray/grey debate...I totally agree, it really is a good looking shade.

That "chalk" color is such a beautiful color in person. I've seen many Porsche's with it and I like it...so much so, that I actually considered it on my Camaro with bronze wheels.

Great minds! We just got a chalk car and are changing the stock wheels over to something that has a hint of bronze!

Very light grey. Pics dont really do it justice. You can't really see how grey it is in pics.

I would say it’s more of an off white.
Or like a bone white.
Hell, have D.B. Spray a swatch

I guess it really pays to have friends in high places, very nice!

How about going to some thing like this for paint with matte black accenting, paying homage to the original hugger orange. Would love to see this combo on a 69.

Ya how cool would it be to see a Hugger orange Stielow build!

Mark...... I wonder if you would have some input on brake line size. I know a lot of your recent builds have ABS. What size brake line do you use? I'm using the DSE master (GM part) and booster on my 69 ...I will be making all my own brake lines and was looking to use 3/16" for the entire car. I know GM used 3/16 in the front (disc brakes) but ran 1/4" to the rear? Could you shed some light on what you normally do with your cars?? Thanks in advance.

The hard part is designing a one off bezel. Dakota Digital made the process very easy.

It is available to anyone.

Another issue with big power cars on open track days is brake cooling. I did big brake cooling ducts on Hellfire and they worked great. I did not do brake cooling ducts on Gunner and Jackass and those cars brakes felt soft on track and they killed brake pads.

We looked a few options on this car. Option one add cooling duct to the center of the front turn signal.

I kinda liked it but I felt we need more air flow. Modify velocity stacks.

Now I gave a 5 inch opening that will funnel air down the hydra formed DSE frame rail and dump air on the brakes.
