Mark...... I wonder if you would have some input on brake line size. I know a lot of your recent builds have ABS. What size brake line do you use? I'm using the DSE master (GM part) and booster on my 69 ...I will be making all my own brake lines and was looking to use 3/16" for the entire car. I know GM used 3/16 in the front (disc brakes) but ran 1/4" to the rear? Could you shed some light on what you normally do with your cars?? Thanks in advance.

On my builds I do 1/4 lines to the ABS module and 3/16 to the corners. In general if you copy what GM does it will work. GM and most OEMs are either cheap, worried about safety or durability. For ABS the bigger line is need to supply the volume of fluid needed for the ABS module. For a passive system that you are not gong to track 3/16 for everything should be good. If I was going to track the car with big brakes I would do 1/4 to the tee for the front and rear systems, Then 3/16 to the corners.

Mark, What has been your experience with the Hooker Black Heart exhaust system designed by Holley for the 69 Camaro with DSE sub and Quadralink? Does it fit in nice, any mods needed to make it work? I'm running and LT4 with all Holley mounts/crossmember. Did you use the Hooker system on your last build (LT4) ??

Would you do the same size lines 1/4 to the tee front and rear with manual big brakes for the track? Note: 7/8" bore size master cylinder and caliper piston area spec'd for a manual big brake setup

If I was building it I would use 1/4. I think 3/16 would be fine.

I don’t have any good data on passive brakes. I have not used them for 12 years.

On my older builds I did 3/16 to the front tee.

It worked.
