Same color I painted the 38 Coupe I posted. Lighting will shift the color a bunch. Even looks great in matte clear.

Looks completely different to me.

It does because that video was shot on a cloudy day. Spray outs are the only real way to judge a color as you know. I used a dark sealer as well, which may also change how the color looks as well.

Just found a color available on 72 Chevelles. I'm wondering if this was what he had, looks a lot like what I remember. It's been almost 50 years since I drove it, so my memory is definitely not perfect. Paint code 57 Golden Brown. It would be a safe choice as it's a factory color and looks good in all light.

Doesn't look as good as the modern colors, just need to find one in person to check out. Or get Jim to do some spray outs for me lol.

I think that's your color. GM is helping you make the decision.

Cool color.

I'm not feeling that color. Factory resto, sure, but on a modern build, not so much.

You're right Jody, it "doesn't look as good." That's because it looks BETTER!! That's the end of all color searching if you ask me. It would only be perfect if you choose that color. It's just so right.

Thanks guys. Jim did some spray outs for me, so that will help me make the decision.
