I'm guessing the lack of a post means he's either unloading or has already unloaded the car and is drooling all over it! :)

I have two TERRIBLE videos shot with my iPhone -- but will post up the excitement that we all shared as they move Karma out of the truck on a rainy day.... with very little room on a slick ramp -- and a car with no brakes. :unibrow:

A Day of Smiles!!

Well guys as you know Karma made it home safe! I want to thank Fred the owner of Concours Transport for helping me set up the transport with Thomas Sunday Transport. Fred came highly recommended but wasn't available to do the job, so he had his good friend of many years...and the only company he fully trusted, Thomas Sunday bring Karma home to us! I can't say enough good things about both companies! Thanks guys and gals! It truely was a great experiance!

The driver's name is Jim, what a great guy! He was always in contact with me and really took great care of our car! He managed to get his 80' truck and trailer into our tight neighborhood...that was VERY nice! He was never in a rush to do anything! The safety of the car and people helping came first! Just a all around great person that loves cars and people and it really showes! Thanks Jim for a job well done! Here's a couple pics of us and his massive truck!

Speaking of parts! We had so many boxes of parts that Greg moved his truck over to the trailer so we could quickly get them to the garage! Thanks GW!! And it helped get to unloading the car that much faster!

Greg, thanks for taking and uploading the vid so fast! And for coming all the way down to Oregon to share in the excitement! Tell Rudy he was a huge help too! That was more than scary and you captured it perfectly! Glad that's over! :faint:

waynieZ 12-12-2010 05:59 PM

Wow Tony that sure looks perty in there!! No sleep for you tonight.
Enjoy!

awr68 12-12-2010 06:22 PM

Jim, the driver, has huge tallent! Trust me when I say it wasn't easy getting this BIG RIG to my house! What you can't see is all the tight turns and dead ends involved! I like being tucked back in the neighborhood...but not so good for days like this! :hail:

mdprovee 12-12-2010 06:30 PM

Mike -- I can tell you it might have been fun to watch NOW.... but I was truly concerned for the guys and the car.... So much can go wrong so quickly in those situations. I'm glad I was asked to move my truck -- and by the time I got parked and out - they were doing the "up elevator" on the lift gate. That's my brother in law (Rudy) up there helping, and my sister would kick my short little azzzzzz should I bring him back busted up! :wow: :D But it all worked out.

awr68 12-12-2010 06:45 PM

I wanted to thank Pete, Mario, and all involved that helped get our project back on track! You all are the best! The car looks amazing! We are totally stoked! I love the colors, it's exactly what I wanted! I love the modded stripe too! The whole package works! I was going for a timeless and classy look...I feel we really nailed it!

Also, thanks to everyone that showed up today! We had a good time seeing all of you again...and you can tell from GW's video that we needed everyone that showed up to safely get the car from the truck to the garage! Big thanks guys! :lateral:

I'm still a little in shock that my car is in the garage! It basically hasn't been out there for 3 years! Well, it was home for a couple months in the last 3 years....but you get the idea!

Looks like it's time to start the next chapter! Assembly time!! :woot:

Thanks again everyone! We couldn't have done it without you all! :lateral:

Flash68 12-12-2010 06:48 PM

Tony -- quit typing and get your butt out in the garage and start installing stuff! :D

awr68 12-12-2010 06:49 PM

This had to come out first...it got all the neighbor's attention! The kids loved all the action today!
