I think you need to ask your self a few questions first. how is the car going to be driven and for what purpose is it intended for. the reason that gm decided to go with a smallercube ls9 is the wallthickness of the cyl. does not work with higher boost presures.me personaly would go with the ls2 for the reason.I PUT ALOT OF MILES ON MY BUILDS.gas milage can be a big factor.the dry sump is cool but ads alot more custom fab time and more plumming. but if you are autocrossing this would be better.what do you want to do with the car needs to answered first.if you want to have a street racer throw a 150hp shot of nitrous to a ls2.:captain: either way you can not go wrong with a ls motor.
