Rybar 12-21-2007 11:15 AM

Mine was a username I got a previous job. Started with first 2 initials of your first name and first 3 initials of your last name.

Ryan Barichello or Rybar pretty simple.

Like Scott I've used it since the internet started

"tell us what your screen name means"

It is my name.

marolf101x 12-21-2007 01:15 PM

Marolf is my last name.
101x came from Charlie Swartz (http://www.swartzracecars.com/), a dirt late model racer when I was growing up. He was normally #1, then he semi-retired. When he came back he had 101x on the car and when asked why he responded, "cause it's all the numbers I had in the shop, and I think this is my last one. So if I use all the numbers I can't build another car!"

Here's a couple of links to some pretty cool "wedge" cars from the early 80's:

mazspeed 12-21-2007 03:45 PM

I used to race Mazda Rx-7's in pro 7, N.A.S.A and S.C.C.A events and ran a site called mazspeed.com, still being ran by someone else now, but hence the screen name.

Speedster 12-21-2007 03:57 PM

Speedster - from the years of high speed boat racing which kind of started when we purchased one of the original twin engine Sea Doo Speedsters back in 1994. (By accident we were at the dock when the Sea Doo guys went out testing prototype #1 down here in Florida)

final cut 12-21-2007 04:35 PM

Final Cut- taken from Pink Floyd's last album. I used to own a shop called Street Works, we built a number of cars there, some of them you may have seen, most of them you probaly have not. The Fairlane I took back to Columbus was the last one. I have sold the shop and all of the tools.......Final Cut.

Mecom Racer 12-21-2007 04:36 PM

Mine is from John Mecom's racing team. He was the one who got the Grand Sports from GM back in '63 and raced them.
