With a baby cam, my car made 500rwhp through these mufflers, so I don't think that I'm losing much with them.

OSorry some ot;

This was suprise to as well. I am sure they will be enough as 2,5" but since i am used to idea of 3" pipes its hard to come smaller.

I am allso intrested more streetable mufflers for my car. What other choises there are in 3" size. Borlas?

That really wasn't a bad launch for not having putting some heat in them. I know the Nitto's usually only require a short burnout, so maybe they were pretty damn close.

Sounds great!

Rockford Turn LOL!

Nitto Drag Radials are a great all around drag radial. They hook good, they look good, and when i had them on my 85 Notch I could drive all over with them on the street and they rode just like a regular Z rated tire pretty much. I was always very happy with them. here's what results I have managed with them in the past...

1985 5.0 Mustang LX Coupe (many many mods but below are the basics...)
280 rwhp (estimated) Stock 93-95 Cobra shortblock/cam GT40X Heads
Tremec TKO 5 speed
3.73 rear gear
Stock 1985 suspension (at the time)
2950 lbs. (estimated weight)

13.2-13.3 with a 2.00 60 ft. time (BFG Street Radial Tire (non-Drag Radial)
12.93 with a 1.85 60 ft. time 105mph (Nitto 275-50-15 Drag Radial)

I dropped 3/10 of a second just by mounting up a set of the Nitto DRs. I just got another set last week. Love these tires! I never did a John Force burnout, just hazed em up a bit and pulled forward. Put em at at 16 pounds - You can feel 'em getting stickier. Check out the pic, I even distorted the sidewall a little LOL!

Scott got the results he and I both thought he'd get by just mounting them up.

This is my 12.93 run at 105 mph...
