Having a new home and workshop built on some property. The house is being built on 1.7 acres of heavily wooded land, we are trying to keep as many trees as possible. The house is 3,200 sq-ft, has a 4-car attached garage on the left side. 1.5 story with a movie theater and billiards room upstairs. So far, they have the framing and roof completed. I'm planning on building a 40x60 shop on the back half of the property for my cars.
http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...e/DSC02718.jpg Homemade panoramic view from the street (street is actually straight, not curved) http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...home/wide1.jpg http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...e/DSC02637.jpg http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...e/DSC02634.jpg This view is looking straight down my future driveway. That is the garage on the side of the house. If you go back another 200 ft the lot is cleared back there for a shop to be built behind the trees. http://i466.photobucket.com/albums/r...e/DSC02635.jpg |

Nice home Tony!
I got my firebird back from a cage builder last night. I need to install the fire systems do a lot of work to get the interior put back together. I got my Malibu back from another guy that did a horrible horrible job installing a simple roll bar. If I didn't have so many things going on I'd sue the guy for taking my car for 2 1/2 years and making a mess of it. I have to cut all the bars out. I'll patch the floors etc later when I have time. I'm closing my business after almost 25 years to move to a warmer climate. http://www.connpost.com/ci_10986569?...w.connpost.com So I have the whole "going out" sale and then dismantling my shop and all the dispays etc and liquidating everything. Then I'm going to drive the cars to Florida to my new home. Drive down, fly back a few times to move the cars. The new house was burglarized, flooded, and then became mold infested about a year and a half ago after I moved all my stuff there. I lost everything in the house except the cars in the garage. Ins didn't cover personal belongings and covered less than half of the cost to fix (after fighting with them for a year) I had a mold remediation company gut the house, remediate, and sheetrock. I will need to do floors, electric, plumbing, kitchen cabinets/counters, sinks, toilets, showers painting etc. I'll have a very busy winter! Oh and I'll need to find new employment! |
Holy cow John! That doesn't sound fun at all! Good luck with all that...one step at a time and you'll get her all fixed up again!!
Tony, thanks for sharing the pics of the new home! It looks great and I know you will love having the shop at the house! |
