No worries, Skip. It's always nice to hear from someone in a related niche or industry. :P

I think the way construction companies (our clients) pay and get paid is very different than typical staffing clients in non-construction niches. Not sure if that is good or bad (we do have mechanics lien rights in Calif which protects us as supplier of material or labor). But in my 3 years in business we have not had a substantial amount of money go over 90 days. Typical pay terms are 45 days. It's usually the small potatoes/1 man show that pays slow or causes the most problems.

Dave, this is really sad news bro.

I know exactly what your going through, my business writes checks today from work we did 4+ months ago.
Unfortunately, all of our contract government jobs (schools) and if the State of Kalifonia can't pass the budget they might just stop funding the projects.

I really hope you decide to hang on to the car but if circumstances don't allow for that then I'm sure you will have another project going in no time.

Hang in there.

Rich

Thanks, Rich.

I am working hard on a couple options to be able to hold onto the car. I need to finish it and then see where I am at. Every serious potential buyer I have spoken to already says the same thing - I want a finished car, or call me when it is done. And I understand that.

It's getting tougher to think of selling it as I see it take shape in the end and look like a ready to drive car soon! :willy:

Sorry about your circumstances and that you have to sell.:(
Hope all works out well for you. I am quite surprised the car hasn't sold yet though??

Yeah thanks. Things can go either way at this point. I am still remaining optimistic yet.

I am not too surprised it hasn't sold. Everyone seems to want a completed car and I can't really blame them I guess.
