That sounds fun:D Of course today it's overcast and crappy for using my new camera! I'll have to practice on the interior, trunk, and engine compartment.

I also endorse the D80 and have three lenses to go with it. Definitely plan on getting the 70-300 VR lens as you'll use it a lot if you do any racing or action photography. And agree about getting quality Nikkor/Nikon glass ...
