I'm not going to tell you to pray, or that weed will make you crazy, or that you're a bad person for smoking, or any of the the other health class nonsense. I've seen alcohol destroy way more lives than weed. I don't smoke, I quit about 7 years ago. Some people smoke and it's fine for them, but if you think it's time for you to quit, you're probably right. Best of luck, just don't lose sight of why you're quitting. After about a month, quitting anything becomes alot easier, whether it's weed, cigarettes, alcohol, overeating, whatever. Just stay on top of your game. :thumbsup:

almost 2 months completly sober:woot:

i feel really great.i would like to thank this community for sharing stories and relating.i have been heavy into working on my 68 as side jobs are slow at this time.my wife let me buy some parts on the credit card and im very happy.my car will be in paint by the end of summer.then over the winter ill piddle with the little issues.thanks again guys for the support

Congrats on the clean time! It's great that you have the car to help keep your mind busy and off old habbits. It sounds like the car is coming along pretty well too. Any more pics posted?

My brother smoked daily. I nicknamed him "Pooky".
He was dumb as a box of rocks most of the time.

He quit, because he got a job as a Union heavy equipment operator and it
required his CDL-A license. They randomly pop them too , so he quit.
He said the first 2-3 weeks are slightly tough......but he pulled through.

He still smokes cigs though.....

Glad to hear all is well. Being sober is my high (sounds cheesy, but when you smoked as much as I did, it is a different feeling). Keep it up.

still going strong/yeah it was expensive/not the old columbian dirt /indoor medical grade stuff.im thinking alot about it lately.i have a great wife and dogs are there getting me thrue it/thank you everyone for the support/it really means alot.this post has had alot of views.i think alot of people smoke and theres nothing wrong with it if you dont have the addictive personality that i have.thanks everyone
