So after the 3rd year, the taxpayers will have to foot the bill of these newly hired cops. Ok, so where is the next 11 million going to come from? Higher taxes or more taxpayer bailout money? Wait a minute, I just repeated myself by saying higher taxes and bailout money...it's coming from the same source isn't it? It's kind of like doing cocaine. I work harder and longer hours so I can buy more cocaine. Cocaine is expensive which is why I have to work harder and longer hours. When will the cycle end?

What I dont understand is...how people expected the hundreds of thousands of jobs lost over the last...oh...8 years (myself included) to magically come back within 9 months of Obama's administration. Too many doomsayers on Fox news if you ask me, yeah things suck bad but they are also turning around. Slowly, sometimes painfully slowly. But still, its been 9 friggin months. If some people would stop watching Glen Beck for a minute and look around they'd realize the guy is atleast trying. I find if funny how many people would say "he's the President, questioning him is un-American" can do it now that THEY dont agree with the President (another fun thing about Fox). Tell ya what, give him 4 years and if you...or atleast the bulk of the country dont think he did a good job we'll kick him out. :thumbsup:

This is the "off topic forum", and we all have opinions. And with the economy in it's current state, jobs being lost, homes being lost...we all can get a little more enthusiastic about stating those opinions.

Maybe politics are frowned upon, but open discussion and sharing of those opinions is not.:cheers:
