I'm still a dealer for iForged and HRE. I typically quote iForged purchases at 8-10 weeks, which seems about right based on my deliveries from them. I make a point to never underquote a delivery to my customers, I'd rather over-estimate and hope it comes in sooner for them.
Never had a problem with HRE deliveries. I had the set built for my Z06, even with custom paint match, in 4 weeks. They do cost quite a bit more, but some customers just want that brand. Tony |
so when president of HRE offers to help,it's still a bad customer service? LOL,
The only thing I do not like about HRE wheels,is that lips need alot of attention,if HRE would anodize them ,I would be very happy and I'm sure the rest of HRE wheel owners, but I'm planning to powdercoat the whole wheel black,:_paranoid :brix: anyways, I thought this thread was about IForged bad service , |

HRE's customer service is Excellent, I had one of my HRE wheels damaged during an accident? I called HRE and and spoke with Vincent and sent him the wheel for an estimate. He emailed me an estimate the day after he got it and it was 20% less than the prices he quoted me over the phone for the Assembly/Disassembly, re-polishing the face and fixing and repolishing the barrel. They have the best customer service in the wheel industry. Well out of all of the companies I've ever dealt with, so far.

I've had such good expriences with several wheel companies (Rushforth, Forgeline, Boze, etc) that I see no reason to deal with one that has "issues".
If you have problems with a company then vote with your wallet.. |
Never had any issues with HRE, I am one of their dealers and have them on 8 of my cars. I wouldn't trust any other wheel do this with...

Your own experiences with HRE notwithstanding - the first two pictures that you posted and the three posts that they reference have nothing to do with HRE. As was pointed out previously the second wheel is not even an HRE piece. If anyone looks into those posts (and their history) in some detail (from the background behind them to the truth behind the posts) it's an excellent example of how the internet can be manipulated for personal reasons and how unsubstantiated claims online can have long lasting effects even if they are hollow accusations. The fact that you continue to reference them is proof of that... I understand that you had a bad experience (and IIRC there were some issue the the range rover wheels at the time) but redredging ancient history doesn't add anything useful to the discussion. Reading the 6speed post I was impressed that HRE was willing to work with someone who had 5 year old wheels that has been modified in any capacity. Now I do have HRE's on the Camaro and I have dealt with HRE's service department and I was very happy with how quickly the helped me (with an issue that was 100% my fault). As Steve said, there are plenty of great wheel manufacturers and vendors - Rushforth, HRE, Forgeline, etc. - out there and it up to you to make your choice who you buy from. Of the three listed there I would not hesitate to buy any of them. |
