I bet that will take some getting use to for ya. What kind of steering box did they put in? Any special mods to the steering box?

Yes its definitely odd after having so many miles with the car as manual steering both street/track. It feels so different, in a good way, but I need to spend some time at a car control event getting used to the new setup. The Steering box is a 12.7:1 Lee 670 steering gear with an aluminum TC adjustable pump. |
Nice man. Your whole steering system is going to feel weird for awhile, but in a good way.

Looks like alot of fun!
Cool car! |
Man, I have loved your car since the first time I saw it on here. It just keeps getting better. I def miss the numbers though, too bad someone stole one.

Finished swapping out the stock hub for the MOMO hub and rewired the momo horn switch. I never realized how nice these steering wheel pullers are.... Makes things real easy.

"The Hooker headers are still wedged up in there and I need to figure out my header situation now..."
You might want to try the headers I am using they fit nice and have great ground clearance. They're Sanderson shorties $475. for coated. I can take more pics if needed. Tim http://i1009.photobucket.com/albums/...headers003.jpg http://i1009.photobucket.com/albums/...header2001.jpg |
Well the Dougs Shorty's Came in. Can't say I'm exactly impressed with the weld quality and overall quality.... As long as they fit, fine. If not I'll be finally biting the bullet and doing lemon's
