Update
I planned on posting this mid week, got busy and posted the old stuff with some updates from today (Sunday 27)....
The frame, control arms, sway bars, front bumper & misc parts are back from blasting. They done a really thorough job on all the parts, they even got inside the frame. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/24ee0468.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/000d6aee.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/1cc7b63d.jpg Here are the parts to start putting the chassis back together. Full Energy Suspension set, Moog ball joints & tierod ends, Raybesto's rotors, calipers and pads, braided steel brake lines etc. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/bf0b2fef.jpg I have been using Evapo-Rust to remove surface rust from all of the nuts & bolts. This stuff works really well. I could blast them but I don't want to change the profile on them. Here is a shot of the pitman arm nut & washer before: http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/cc63947a.jpg after: http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/ddc06eee.jpg I replaced uca & lca bushings and painted them last weekend. I will post picks of the paint later. Today (Sunday).... Here are the control arms, sway bar & rear end being painted. I used Summits semi gloss chassis paint. It seems to be some pretty decent stuff for the money. I put all of the urethane bushings in and masked them off prior to painting. http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/afa00f42.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/3deaaf5c.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/fbefae87.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/7a9634c7.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/2ee088e8.jpg http://i89.photobucket.com/albums/k2...k/39a85d1e.jpg |

Rollin
Finally got a roller again. Now it's on to the engine. I have a question, is anyone or has anyone ran the polyurethane cab mounts from Energy Suspension? I bought a master kit and it has cab mounts. I want to keep the truck quite inside and thought these might induce some road noise into the cab. What are you thoughts?

I'd say with enough Dynamat or FatMat, the road noise shouldn't be an issue. But I've never used or ridden in a truck with those mounts, so I'm just guessin'...
