 It's always fun seeing some classics out at there. Does the group you run with not PAX their results?

Hey Todd great video and nice job of driving. I just figured the real reason you put those hood locks on there - you use them as gun sites for that bullit! The car sounds great . Only problem I had was seeing the openings in the cones Wow Fast! Enjoy it you worked hard on it.

They do, but I have a hard time comparing my car to a PAX based on AWD Lancers and Scooby Doo's with traction control and abs that seem to dominate my class. I rode with the number 1 guy in his Lancer and it was INSANE. I smiled so much my cheeks hurt. They are over 3 seconds ahead of me and I'm not catching them. A6's and better brakes could shave maybe half, but I'm not to conerned with it.

You make me proud man. Big Blocks can't handle! LS motors are great no doubt, but there is something to be said about a 500" motor that only weighs what a iron small block weighs.

I told you the sway bar would loosen it right up. Until we see what the track looks like at El Toro. I have no idea how they lay out a track there or how long it is. I would leave it in the center hole for now. If it is a 35 to 40 second track, you will probably want it in the center hole. Simple enough to change if you find it to tight back there.

Can't wait to see it again, see ya Friday.

Looks like you are having a ball

Did you get the Carbotech pads installed?

What spring rate are you running in the rear and front? You could soften the rear spring a touch if you are still loose after the sway bar adjustment.

I ran out of time and energy. That carb whooped my ass for two days. I'll get them on before El Toro. It's quite possible the rear spring rate may need to drop slighty. I think the front hole will be neutral enough. I'm really kicking around going to a floating rear rotor right now. I don't know what else to do at this point. I was talking to the guy with the Cobra and he had exactly the same issue. Going to a big ford end and tapered bearing fixed his, he's 1000 lbs lighter. It's got to be axle or bearing flex and I just can't believe a 33 spline axle flexes this much. Moral of the story is manual brakes and autocross aren't ideal. 25 corners in 51 seconds makes it tough to pump brakes.
