Scott isnt going to get copied anymore and so if you cant afford a whole assembly then dont bother bashing someone because you cant get what you want by strong arming them on this FORUM !!!

Tom

Yes he does have the right and I'm not bashing or trying to copy any designs this is for a customer that I have and I told him that I sold frames for a guy (Jordan which I have sold for before ) and he said great cause I already have c-6 components... Well Jordan doesn't work at the same job and all my contact info was from his place of work so oh we'll .. Just trying to source a frame only guess jakes and art Morrison are my options and there within a couple hundred of each other
.. Please no pissing match were all here to build fun cars and enjoy :)

no contest

I see no reason to post that Scott wont sell you a bare frame and if you had been through what he has with people trying to work him over and (also copy)to get one you would understand why i posted this ..no hard feelings

also. to Arik didnt see any reason for your statement in reference to who is better and or first.. but hey glad you bought a Jakes and good luck ...

Has Scott changed the way he sell's his frame? I thought he would sell just the frame with no component? Either way I want one just can't spend that much right now!

Nice talking to you today Scott, now I understand the WHOLE story. And let me just say I really don't get why people don't just try to make their own stuff. Do your home work like Scott does and then build what you want or can! I hate when you see someone build a product and then "Walmart" sends it for some R&D (ripoff & duplicat). I know if the funds are available I will be getting one of Scotts frames!

I have seen Scotts and I have see Jordan. Jordan bought a subframe from Scott and then started copying them. That was the easy part. Building the rest of the front end, keeping the bump steer out, setting up the sway bars, building the steering arms. Scott has everyting down corectly and Jordan does not. Instead of using a ream to make the taper in the steering arm like Scott's, Jordan uses a step drill and they look terribles. Jordan uses rebuilt rack and pinions, Scott uses a complely new rack built by Detroit Speed. What a great piece. Scott build a great piece for a good value. Jordan builds a very cheep piece only to make money. If you do not believe me call Jordan and ask him sizes, angles, or anything about his front end. He can not answer the questions. I know one guy who bought from Jordan, and had to call Scott to get his front end together. A lot of people sell things, only a few sell quality.

I couldnt have said it better myself. why save 50 bucks when it is going to cost you time money and headaches in the end when you have to get ahold of scott to figure out what you need to do to get the chassis together and setup correctly? some ppl have to learn that lesson the hard way i suppose. scott has gone out of his way to correct the problems created by jordan to help others out. point of the story is scott is a good guy and not out to get rich. he is making a quality chassis at a fair price and if you treat him right he will bend over backwards to help others out. Im not just saying this because scott is my stepdad, im saying this because i have been here for the whole ride and witnessed everything scott has been through and have seen him build and fabricate hot rod and race car parts since i was about 4 years old. scott has done his homework and is not just your average joe in overalls building parts in a shop behind his house. scott and i are both passionate about our sport and hobby and are very greatful for the great times and ppl we have met.
