The reason I used them was the cost of the full system was very reasonable but I have been pleased. Interior noise is significantly less than the flowmasters it had before.

They might be too quite at times but I am sure my neighbors would disagree. The exhaust note is nice from behind the car. In front of the car the cammed LS valve slap overpowers the exhaust note. Inside the car it is reasonably dB levels. I can reasonably hold telephone conversation on the interstate due to the insulation but still get plenty of compliments.

My original plan was to run these until I decided to cough of up money for one of the Borla pieces but now I have decided to stick with this since it works out so well

I agree with your comment almost 100% .......

Except, that I was never planning on changing to something else. I have Race Pro's flowing through a Pypes 2.5" stainless system with their X-pipe. At idle and cruise it is not a resonating nightmare, but when you get on it, it is a simply awesome sound!!! It is my opinion that an exhaust system can brag the best flow numbers, but sound like crap......and in the end, entirely personal choice. It's like buying stereo speakers or choosing a wine :unibrow:

Magnaflow, 2.5 with an Xpipe. It's much better than the old chambered mufflers I was running.

I tried a Dynomax Ultra Flo on my truck, but there's too much drone. From now on its Magnaflow for me...

Anyone have performance mufflers that they thought were just too quiet? If so, what where they? Because I want those, lol.

went from magnaflows to 2 chamber flows because I wanted it a little louder at idle. flows just sounded like everyone elses car except for when I had them on full 3" exhaust on my last 5.0. now I'm running spintechs and am waaaay happy when Im driving they just have this sound I cant explain almost like a light rasp. needless to say EVERY PERSON who has heard those mufflers with the exception of one has liked them and have plans on running them on there car. my crappy cell phone video does zero justice but here:

I am running the Pypes Street Pro's with 2.5 inch S.S. and the X pipe..

With the 280H cam ,it is really Sweet Sounding at Idle, but at WOT, it is Intoxicating..Love it..

And there is a slight drone at some speed, but you can get to a speed on the highway when it is quiet..

i have run flowmasters on everything i own and build for 20 yrs, IMO there the best flowing, best sounding muffler out there with lots of options for sound in there muffler line up
