Kevin, does this engine fit in these cars with the stock shock towers?

Looking good so far. I hope that Eastwood paint holds up for you guys.

I would agree with FETorino... it's probably possible, but it would be super tight. You cannot run this engine with the Mustang headers without interfering with the frame rails, however. We're waiting on DSE headers for that.

We've used the EW ceramic paint on several engines... it holds up like iron.

Detroit Speed Aluma-Frame Install Video on BOSS 302.0

Here's the install video of the Detroit Speed Aluma-Frame and front suspension system. Some of the holes are a little tricky to drill, but overall, the install went smoothly. Can't wait to drive this one!

Thanks Wayne, and you're correct, we're lucky to have a very talented crew. Perhaps the best attribute is that everyone in the V8 Speed & Resto Shop genuinely cares about whatever it is they're working on.

Glad you enjoy the videos, we'll make more (like Doritos!)

Maybe I'll pick up a bag so I can have for your next video.

Awesome build.
It seems I have to sell my 69 Cougar soon and start to build my 68 Mustang coupe on this way with DSE suspension and BOSS 5.0 :D

DONT DO IT! As nice as this build is, the world has enough Mustangs and Camaros. Check out Max Effort Cougar build PHR is doing for inspiration.
